Consumer Databases FAQ's

Question:
Where is ConsumerBase data sourced?
Answer: At ConsumerBase, a direct mail lists company, we build our database from a variety of sources. First, we own our own network of websites from which we collect opt-in data. We also work with trusted partners who provide us with opt-in data. All of our data records contain, minimally, name and postal record. Additionally, we add value to our data by enhancing it with a number of demographic, lifestyle and behavioral selects.

Question:
Can I find out information on individuals using ResponderInfo or other products?
Answer: No. ConsumerBase data products are intended to be used by marketers who require data on large numbers of people. We do not make the information of individuals available.

Question:
What steps does ConsumerBase take to ensure privacy?

Answer: ConsumerBase is in the business of helping direct marketers reach receptive audiences and we take the privacy of individuals very seriously. We only collect and purchase data in which recipients have willingly taken part in opt-in email marketing solicitations. Further, all offers that we send meet or exceed the standards of CAN-SPAM laws, the National Do Not Call Registry and The Direct Marketing Association.
