Email Appends

To "append" means to attach to something else. In a ConsumerBase data append, clients attach emails to the records of their existing customer/prospect databases.

That's it. That's all there is to an email append.

How it Works
In an email append, we take a client's file and match names and addresses with the records in our own database. When we find matches we add them on to the client's file through an email append.

Next, we send out a Permission Pass to all matched addresses. This is an email that enables the recipient to opt out of receiving emails from the client. This is a very important part of an email append, as this gives the recipient the option of receiving or not receiving the emails.

Since every database is different, the match rate will be different for every client. Typically, we can match an email to over 20% of the records in a given database.

Only Pay for Net Matches
Regardless of the match rate, the client pays only for valid, matched emails for recipients who did not unsubscribe upon receiving the Permission Pass.

Reverse Append
In a reverse data append, we take the email lists of clients and add full name and postal address information to them. Because our data undergoes regular data hygiene and National Change of Address (NCOA) updating, our clients can be assured that the data they are receiving is the most up-to-date available.
